HOGEYE TEAM CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION OF THE HOGEYE TEAM CHALLENGE:
The Hogeye Team Challenge is part of the Hogeye Marathon & Relays on March 28, 2020 in Springdale, AR. The goal is to get your “tribe” moving. This will be a fun way to build comradery while promoting fitness.
All participants must register as individuals using a team code provided to the team captain. Pricing will apply as stated by the race including price increases at set times. Businesses may choose to pay for their employees entry but must be done as previously arranged through team captains. Businesses will have the option of also being a sponsor of the event, and/or providing a goody bag stuffer. Race Sponsors receive some complimentary entries, and discounts for team members, in addition to the benefits laid out per The Hogeye Sponsor flyer. Teams must be from Businesses, Schools (Administration, faculty, and staff), or Non-profits.
Teams must have at least 7 members. This allows a team to have the following participants: one full, one half, one relay team (4), one 5k, and still be small business friendly. Family members may participate on teams.
The fastest combined total time for the fastest participant on the team for each event.
To be eligible each team must have at least one participant/relay team in each event. Full marathon runner time does not count for full and half.
However, the first leg of the relay may count both for relay team and either the marathon or half marathon. (this would technically allow teams to have as little as 6 members)
Team with the greatest number of participants and volunteers.
Must have 7 members who run/walk, but do not need to enter in every event like the fastest team.
Volunteers are needed to provide support on the course & can sign up using volunteer software.
There will be 3 categories for the fittest team:
- Small organizations or companies- 7 up to 50 individuals
- Medium organizations or companies- 51-250 individuals
- Large organizations or companies- 251 and up individuals

The Hogeye Marathon, Arkansas' oldest marathon, was founded in 1977. Northwest Arkansas charities benefit from the proceeds of the event, which brings runners from every state to the most beautiful part of Arkansas.
